Set up in 2020 by David Butcher, a Chartered Engineer with over twenty years experience in the Automotive Industry. David’s software engineering skills and system knowledge mean that consultancy services can be provided covering a broad and deep range.

After fifteen years working for Bosch Automotive Service Solutions on EOL Test Systems, David set up Octagon Automotive to provide consultancy services to the industry. This included helping the startup OEM INEOS Automotive with the launch of the newly designed Grenadier vehicle. After successfully guiding the data integration for the EOL Manufacturing system at Hambach plant; David also provided data integration services for the Grenadier After Sales system. Other projects include consultancy for:

• Volvo systems data integration with PoleStar systems for PoleStar 4

• the introduction of UDS Service 29 for Secure Diagnostics for Jaguar Land Rover.
